Why do you sell stockings with Toes pointing Right AND Left, and which is most popular?

I give customers the option of TOE POINTS RIGHT or TOE POINT LEFT so if you are matching old hand-made stockings you can always find at match at Aunt Joy’s.  About 60% of the stockings are ordered with the toe pointing Left and about 40 % with the toe pointing Right.

 I have a different shape to my stocking, make by my grandmother many years ago.  Can you change the shape of the stocking to match my antique stockings?

  Yes, I can create a SPECIAL ORDER stocking to match your grandmothers stocking in both shape and design.  Prices vary depending on the size and design.  Many customers have sent in pictures of their heirloom stockings and I create a reproduction.

Why are Burlap stockings ‘lined’?

  The burlap is a natural fiber with a loose weave and can easily stretch out of shape.  The burlap stockings are ‘lined’ with a cotton fabric so it will very durable and will maintain its shape for many years.

Do you make stockings in other fabrics like gold, silver, or Velvet?

Yes, we can make special order stockings in any fabric.  Just call Aunt Joy or send a detailed email for pricing information.

Do you give discounts for larger orders on your mini stockings.  I want to order for my Christmas Party?

Yes we give group discounts on Mini Stockings with orders of 2 dozen more.

Why are Tree Skirts so plain in design? 

Aunt Joy’s Tree Skirts are called PLAIN AND SIMPLE because we believer the focus should be on your Christmas Tree and its decorations and the Tree Skirt should offer a nice complement to the tree and coordinate with your stockings, rather than steal the show.  But if you want designs added to your Tree Skirts, we can make a Special Order just the way you want.  Call or email for pricing info.
